At Pinecrest, we realize much of the world lives in abject poverty. Jesus said, “feed my sheep” and we know that many times these dear people are also starving for the Word of God. In many of our mission projects, we provide funds to meet the physical needs of people so that we may earn the right to meet their spiritual needs as well. This beautiful young boy lives in the Phnom Penh dump site in Cambodia. Our missionary makes sure that he, along with many others, gets something to eat every day. We are a part of other such projects in other parts of Asia, Africa and eastern Europe which provide lunch programs, winter coats and the opportunity to attend Christian schools and Christian camps, all operated and managed by our missionaries. Pinecrest helps people, whether they are next door or around the world, as they are all our neighbors.
