The church of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, is a shelter in the time of storm. The home that we have built, in partnership with our sister church in Manila, Philippines, has become just that for eight precious children... a shelter in the time of storm. The beautiful children in our orphanage were abandoned in the hospital as infants -- by their mothers -- all due to poverty. We believe that no child should be a statistic. This little boy is not a statistic... his name is Benny. Through monetary gifts, our ministry has provided shelter, loving house parents and daily home-cooked meals for these orphans. Our sheltering ministry has done this for orphans in Africa and Romania as well. Pinecrest has also been a shelter for many others here at home.
