We believe that the Bible is literally God’s Word and the final authority in our lives. It is upon this authority that we have laid our foundation for all that we do at Pinecrest. The Bible is a literary picture of Jesus Christ, filled with over 8,000 promises to live by. At Pinecrest, we emphasize equipping our members through the study and preaching of God’s Word. We, through a partnership with FirstBible International, are helping to provide the Word of God to people who have never had a Bible in their language. There are currently 11,000 people groups without a Bible translated in their language, and we are helping change that statistic -- one people-group at a time -- believing we can change the world, one heart at a time.
This is my Bible. It is God’s Holy Word. It is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It tells me who I am, what I can become and where I am going. It renews my mind, changes my heart and refreshes my soul. It is my daily bread. By faith, I will believe its promises, obey its commandments and honor its principles in my life. With the Bible as my guide, I will walk by faith and not by sight.
